Since Dan has been in media spotlight, he has been invited all over the country to speak about disability issues and the film King Gimp. He has had the honor of being the keynote speaker for Federal agencies, State agencies and disability organizations. Dan has spoken at events including Oakleah Elementary School's Disabilities Awareness Day, the Key address at 2001 TASH National Conference, Syracuse University's 25th Celebration of the IDEA Act, and the 2001 Ticket to Work Conference to name just a few.
